I'm very impressed with how your character has developed since the olden days--it creates a feeling of nostalgia as well as a feeling of progress and growth, to me--both positive things, in their own ways (:
A potential ancestor, but not the same guy. ; This guy has been my recent focus for around a year, and is actually quite different from the other. It does get confusing calling all of them Zhao; I usually refer to this one as "The Prince" or "Changsha" or by his full title.

Indeed! He's hardly like the previous Zhaos I knew, so I wondered--but that, in a sense, is the same thing I'm saying. It's character development in a broader sense: if you want to develop a character, why not move into previous or future generations?
*nod* That's true, I suppose. When I created the character though, it wasn't really intended to be an extension on the other one. Rather, I started out with a situation, a character skeleton, and a date, and the imperial clan of the time just happened to have the same name. When I started the guy at WJ, I never dreamed of him being of any sort of imperial descent. But hey, who said that retconning things is bad?
I've gotten some provisions for possible ancestry, but in the long run, I don't think that the Prince of Changsha's story will truly affect those of the later born Zhao characters.

His design shows me a lot of thought, skill, and experience on your part. Whether or not he has anything to do with other characters of yours doesn't really matter in this case--I commend you for your craftsmanship, because it has matured and improved since I knew you before.
That's all I meant (: I'm not good at articulating these things x_X
We definitely need to get back into talking more, too
Devious Comments
Sounds like a really interesting and believable character you've developed here buddo.
He started as...well, a character made up on the spot and went through wave after wave of development.
